Kootenay SChool of the Arts
In 2015 I moved from Vancouver Island to the small mountain town of Nelson, BC. Here I spent eighteen months at the Kootenay School of the Arts. I spent my studio time primarily focused on glaze experimentation. As one of the few institutions in Canada teaching studio Ceramics we were very fortunate to have the majority of our time learning in the studio. For our year-end show, I worked with translucent casted porcelain producing ceramic lighting.
KSA is a place where students are given the studio space and time to learn their craft be it Ceramics, Jewellery, Textiles, Bronze casting and Metalsmithing.
